Ukraine is ready to offer Malta to conclude a bilateral agreement on the abolition of visa fees, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said, ForUm correspondent reports.

"We welcome the entry into force of the agreement on simplification of visa regime between Ukraine and the EU. In accordance with this agreement, we are ready to sign a bilateral agreement on the abolition of visa fees," Azarov added.

He noted that after the signing of the agreement between Ukraine and Malta, in particular, there can be established free trade regime, and bilateral agreements on investment protection, aviation, merchant shipping will have great importance. 

He also proposed to set up the Ukrainian-Maltese Chamber of Commerce, the intergovernmental commission and to hold business forums both in Ukraine and in Malta.
