Yesterday at 7.30 pm, the Etel vessel left the port of Benghazi without hindrance and headed for Cyprus, foreign minister of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara stated.
"There are 19 sailors on board the ship, they are the citizens of Ukraine, who previously were detained on board by armed people. Their health condition is satisfactory," the Foreign Ministry press service quotes the minister.
The Etel vessel is headed for Cyprus, where the crew will be replaced. Thus, the issue regarding the release of the vessel and its crew was fully resolved, Kozhara noted.
