Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuriy Boiko expects to sign an agreement to resume the serial production of An-124 Ruslan aircraft before November 2013, the press service of the deputy Prime Minister reported.
According to him, the signing of this agreement is scheduled for September-October this year at a meeting of the Committee on Economic Cooperation of the Ukrainian-Russian Interstate Commission.
"We hope that the agreement will be ready for signing before the meeting of the committee," Boiko said.
The vice Prime Minister noted that the issue to resume the production of An-124 is important for the Ukrainian aviation industry and for the economy of Ukraine.
