Estonian Prime Minister Andrus Ansip and EU High Representative on Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton, who met in Tallinn on Monday, agreed that Ukraine is greatly important to the EU.

"We can’t lose Ukraine," the Estonian government press service quoted Ashton as saying.

"Estonia expects a treaty on association and free trade with Ukraine to be signed at the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius in November. That will bring the relations between it and the EU to a new level," the press service quoted Ansip as saying, Interfax-Ukraine reported.

Ansip said he is hoping that Ukraine will make efforts to sign the treaty.

The Estonian Prime Minister believes one of the tasks is the reform of the judicial system in Ukraine.
"We can’t agree with selective justice, and Ukraine is already making steps to resolve this problem," he said.
