Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov hopes Russian-Ukrainian schools will be opened in Russia, which will work on joint educational principle. He said this after a visit to the new Ukrainian-Russian humanitarian gymnasium in Kyiv, ForUm correspondent reports.

According to him, the new school is built on new principles and provides training according to the Russian-Ukrainian joint training programs.

"This is extremely important given the huge volume of our trade and economic ties. Of course, in future we will need professionals, who are well aware of and have a level of education corresponding to both Ukrainian and Russian approaches," PM said.

As the Prime Minister noted, opening of the Ukrainian-Russian humanitarian gymnasium in Ukraine is a gesture towards strengthening of relations between Ukraine and Russia.

Education in this school is paid. However, Azarov said that he already had a talk with the leaders of the gymnasium on the need for a differentiated approach to paid education.
