Involvement of a group of persons detained in Pakistan in killing Ukrainian climbers has not been confirmed, the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine informs.
"According to the Ukrainian Embassy in Pakistan, the regional police reported of the arrest of persons suspected of involvement in a number of terrorist attacks and killings," director of information policy department of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis said.
According to him, the involvement of these persons in killing of Ukrainian climbers has not yet been confirmed by law enforcement agencies of Pakistan. Investigation is underway.
Perebyinis added that Ukrainian party has not yet received any official reports from the central government of Pakistan in addition to the information of the regional police.
