Chief state sanitary doctor of Russia, head of the Russian Federal Service for Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor) Gennady Onishchenko calls Ukraine to dialogue and asks not to distort the facts in situation with Roshen production.

"There is no need to organize resistance against Russia, this is no deal. Do not distort the facts, just sit down and negotiate," Onishchenko said.

He noted that after the cheese scandal, the Rospotrebnadzor offered Ukraine to accredit several laboratories for quality control of products.

"There were problems with cheese. We proposed to accredit laboratories in the territory of Ukraine, which we could trust. We selected five laboratories. But as soon as we let cheese in Russia, they forgot about these arrangements," Onishchenko said.

He added that the Rospotrebnadzor continues to withdraw products of Ukrainian Roshen confectionary factories from the Russian market.
