The State Border Service of Ukraine in the framework of its competence is involved in the search for ex-rector of the National University of State Tax Service Petro Melnyk, who had escaped from house arrest.
"Indeed, we are informed and involved within our competence in the search for the citizen," press service reports.
Earlier, the Interior Ministry reported that on August 1 the State Border Service of Ukraine was notified of the application of preventive measure in form of house arrest with electronic bracelet to Melnyk, so he could not leave the country legally.
