Education and science minister Dmytro Tabachnyk stated that the school year will begin on September 1 in Horlivka, he said in exclusive comments to ForUm correspondent.

"There are no grounds to postpone the start of academic year at schools in Horlivka," he said.

The minister noted that at today's government meeting the issue on accident at plant No. 1 of PJSC Stirol Concern was considered in detail. "There is no danger of technogenic catastrophe," he said.

Tabachnyk also said that Prime Minister Mykola Azarov stressed the need for special supervision of safety at such facilities even after the change of ownership.
