The State Inspectorate for Consumer Protection of Ukraine identified lack of quality of 40% of the tested school production, head of the Inspectorate Serhiy Orekhov told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The State Inspectorate for Consumer Protection already checked more than 300 enterprises. According to the report, more than one thousand violations were found, about 20 thousand units were ejected and withdrawn from sale," he said.
Orekhov stressed that the analysis of the consumer market of school assortment shows the trend of appearance of goods with gross manufacturing defects, using materials which harm health of children.
According to him, the State Inspectorate for Consumer Protection will publish the list of enterprisers-violatos before the end of August this year.
