Azarov instructs to strengthen control over meat import

Prime Minister Mykola Azarov instructed to strengthen control over the import of meat, he said, opening a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, ForUm correspondent reports.

"I instruct the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry together with the Incomes and Fees Ministry to strengthen control over the import of meat, excluding supplies of unsafe and low-quality products to the Ukrainian market," he said.

In addition, Azarov instructed the State Inspectorate for Consumer Protection to monitor the implementation of national standards in the manufacture of meat products.
