The Sanitary-Epidemiological Service department in Horlivka reports that maximum permissible concentration of ammonia was not exceeded, the Horlivka City Council reported on August 7.
According to the report, after the accident at the Stirol Concern plant, sanitary-epidemiological service of Horlivka sampled air at the border of the sanitary protection zone (800 and 1000 meters from the emission source).
As chief medical officer of Sanitary-Epidemiological Service department in Horlivka Viktor Liapin informed, exceeding the maximum permissible concentration of ammonia was not found in samples.
