Representatives of the World Customs Organization confirmed the readiness to provide the Incomes and Fees Ministry with necessary consulting and expert assistance aimed at the implementation of standards in the customs sphere of Ukraine. As the Ministry’s press service informs, this was discussed during the meeting of director of the strategic management and innovation department of the Incomes and Fees Ministry Yevhen Malanushenko with deputy secretary general of the World Customs Organization Sergio Mujica and director of the institutional development department of the organization Eric Kick in Brussels.
In particular, representatives of the Organization praised Ukraine's efforts to introduce a five-year development strategy for the simplification of customs systems and procedures, partnerships with business, anti customs offenses.
The meeting was held within the framework of the agreements reached during the visit of Ukrainian delegation headed by incomes and fees minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Klymenko in Brussels on June 6-7, 2013.
