The road traffic through a tunnel at the Poshtova Square in Kyiv will be opened on August 8, deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Vilkul told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

"The government helps Kyiv to create a highway of continuous movement from the Capital highway to Obolon district. Five projects have been already built. Now the last sixth object is being built, it is a transport interchange at the Poshtova Square. All works must be completed before the end of the year. On August 8, the traffic through a tunnel at the Postal Square will be open," he said. 

Vilkul recalled that the establishment of a highway of continuous movement has started in Kyiv in 2010, and five objects have been put into operation as part of this project.

According to him, the total cost of the reconstruction project amounts to 426.2 million UAH.
