A memorial sign in the form of a Cossack’s cross dedicated to the 1025th anniversary of the Baptism of Kyiv Rus will appear near the Poshtova Square, the press service of the department for urban development and architecture of the Kyiv City Administration told ForUm.
Yesterday, July 28, the chief architect of Kyiv Serhiy Tselovalnyk together with the jury representatives congratulated the winners of the All-Ukrainian competition of the best draft design of the memorial sign dedicated to the 1025th anniversary of the Baptism of Kyiv Rus.
According to the unanimous decision of the jury, the first prize was awarded to the project with code 212121 from Kyiv, performed by the team "Protcenko architectural bureau."
According to the idea of the authors, it will be a Cossack’s wooden cross with metal frame. This project will be implemented within this year.
