The Embassy of Russia in Ukraine sent a note to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry to restore the memorial plaque to Petro Stolypin, installed in September 2011 in connection with the 100th anniversary of the death of the Prime Minister of Russia in 1906-1911 years Petro Stolypin in Kyiv in 33 Honchar Street.

Press attache of the Russian Embassy in Ukraine Oleg Grishin told in comments to ForUm correspondent.

"We sent a note to the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine. We hope that a plaque will be restored at the same place and those responsible for its theft will be found and will be punished," he stressed.

However, Grishin said that the Russian embassy has not made a corresponding statement in the Kyiv police. "According to the procedure, we can not contact the relevant authorities, we are only able to write a note," he said.
