The Education and Science Ministry will check the readiness of all schools of Ukraine for the new academic year, first vice Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov said, opening a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, ForUm correspondent reports.
He stressed that this year, about half a million first graders will go to school, so it is necessary to begin active preparations for the start of the academic process.
"This includes overhauls at schools, publication of school textbooks and respectively providing schools with them," he said.
In this regard, the first deputy Prime Minister instructed the Education and Science Ministry to start checking the readiness of all schools for the new academic year.
