Russian senators intend to discuss issues of staying the Black Sea Fleet in Ukraine with the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Council of the Federation press service informs.
"The delegation of the Federation Council, headed by chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security Viktor Ozerov will visit Ukraine on July 10-12," the statement reads.
In particular, the senators will meet with the chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security and Defense Volodymyr Lytvyn and hold a meeting on the state of training and combat activities and social security of the Black Sea Fleet.
