Today, the Verkhovna Rada does not have time to consider personnel issues of the Central Election Commission and the Supreme Council of Justice, head of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
He also assured that the Party of Regions faction was ready to ensure maximum attendance of the MPs to vote for appointment of members of the Supreme Council of Justice, which is carried out not by the Rada system but bulletins.
Yefremov also criticized the opposition statement that they will not support the dismissal of head of the Central Election Commission Volodymyr Shapoval.
He stressed that it is a prerogative of the President to propose a candidate for the head of the Central Election Commission.
