Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov attended on Monday the opening of the 50th Paris Air Show at Le Bourget, a suburb of Paris, where he held talks with foreign aircraft manufacturers.
On the first day of the air show, the Ukrainian Prime Minister discussed issues of cooperation in the aviation industry with Turkish Aerospace Industries, Inc. (TAI) and with Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), according to the government’s web site, Interfax-Ukraine reported.
Azarov also viewed the products of international aerospace manufacturers, as well as the new developments and products of Ukrainian participants of the air show – the Antonov State Enterprise, PJSC Motor Sich, Ivchenko-Progress State Enterprise and Ukroboronprom State Concern.
The Ukrainian Prime Minister is attending the Paris Air Show on June 17-18.
The Paris Air Show is one of the world’s largest forums for developers and producers of aircraft and space equipment.
More than two thousand companies from 44 countries take part in this year’s show.
