In two years, five stations of a new metro line will be put into operation in Kyiv under condition of a stable funding, head of the Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Popov said at the final press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.

"As soon as we complete the construction of the Teremky metro station, all capacities of the Kyivmetrobud will be focused on the construction of the fourth metro line," he said.

According to Popov, the construction of the first phase of the subway at Troeshchyna residential area will begin in August and will take two years.

Popov reminded that the opening of the Teremky metro station is scheduled for August 24, the Independence Day of Ukraine.
