Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych will make an official visit to Serbia on June 6-7, reads a statement posted on the Web site of the head of state, Interfax informs.

“On June 6-7, 2013, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych will make an official visit to Serbia at the invitation of the president of this country, Tomislav Nikolic,” Head of Ukraine’s Presidential Administration Serhiy Liovochkin said.

According to the statement, the program of the visit foresees talks with Nikolic, President of the National Assembly of Serbia Nebojsa Stefanovic and Prime Minister and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic.
“It is planned to discuss a wide range of issues of Ukrainian-Serbian relations and outline ways to enhance bilateral cooperation, first and foremost, in the trade, economic and investment spheres,” reads the statement.

In Belgrade, Yanukovych will participate in the work of a Ukrainian-Serbian business forum.
“As part of the official visit, it is planned to sign bilateral agreements regarding cooperation between Ukraine and Serbia in the sphere of railway transport, agriculture, tourism, education, culture, and investment,” reads the statement.
