Temporary control commission of the Kyiv City Council will check whether there are red chestnuts in Ukrainian nursery-gardens, commission chairman Tetiana Melikhova stated, ForUm correspondent reports.
"We addressed the experts to find out if there are trees of this type in Ukraine. We will take appropriate measures according to the received information," she said.
Melikhova noted that in case such trees are in Ukraine, then there will be no necessity to ask foreign partners to purchase them.
Director of the Fomin botanical garden Oleksandr Senchilo suggested that such nursery-gardens may be in Ivano-Frankivsk region.
