Memorandum on Ukraine’s observer status in Customs Union to be signed at a meeting of the Council of heads of governments of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) on May 31, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych stated.
"The memorandum on Ukraine’s involvement (as observer) in the Customs Union will be signed in the next few days at the meeting of CIS heads of governments in Minsk,” Viktor Yanukovych said at a joint press conference with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev in Astana on Wednesday, Interfax-Ukraine reported.
He said that the Presidents of Customs Union countries and Ukraine gave corresponding instructions to their Prime Ministers.
