Foreign minister of Ukraine stated that as of today the Parliament passed almost all the laws, necessary for the completion of the first (legal) phase of the Action Plan on visa liberalization with the EU.

"Thanks to the active work of the government and the Verkhovna Rada, almost all the laws, necessary for the completion of the first (legal) phase of the Action Plan on visa liberalization with the EU are passed," deputy director of the Foreign Ministry information policy department Vasyl Zvarych told a briefing.

Zvarych reminded that the Parliament has already adopted a number of laws on the implementation of the state anti-corruption policy and the improvement of the personal data protection, necessary for the promotion of visa-free dialogue between Ukraine and the EU.

"In order to finalize the third report on the progress of Ukraine in the implementation of the first (legal) phase of the Action Plan on visa liberalization with the EU, we should pass only a draft law on amendments to legislative acts of Ukraine on prevention and combating discrimination in Ukraine," Zvarych said.

He added that the bill will be considered at the plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada on June 4-7.
