Ukraine hopes that the Belarusian market will be open for Ukrainian products, first deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov said during the XXII meeting of the intergovernmental Ukrainian-Belarusian commission for trade and economic cooperation, ForUm correspondent reports.

"The Ukrainian market is open for Belarusian products. I hope we can count on the response actions from the Belarusian market," Arbuzov said and expressed confidence that Ukraine and Belarus will be able to solve problematic issues having worked an algorithm for mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

"Some issues arose, on which we worked yesterday and today. This is obvious and logical. That is why, a commission is established. In particular, we worry about the problems faced by our manufacturers of confectionery and dairy products on the Belarusian market," he said.

Meanwhile, Arbuzov complained that these problems arose in spite of the bilateral agreements and provisions of the free trade area within the CIS. " I hope we will solve this problem," the official stated.
