Belarus plans to set up enterprises for agricultural machinery assembly in Ukraine, first vice Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko said during the XXII meeting of the intergovernmental Belarusian-Ukrainian commission for trade and economic cooperation, ForUm correspondent reports.

"Ukraine poses a real and correct task - double the volume of grain production ... We are ready to help Ukraine," he said.

According to him, Belarus is ready to deliver agricultural equipment to Ukraine on favorable terms, in particular, on leasing scheme and preferential bank loans.

Semashko noted that today during a meeting of the commission, economy ministers of the two countries will be given appropriate instructions "to get results in a couple of months".

In addition, he stressed that production of Belarusian agricultural machinery in Ukraine will allow bringing it to the European markets.
