Chairman of the Parliament Volodymyr Rybak decided to gather leaders of the parliamentary factions for talks, as the opposition demands to invite the heads of the General Prosecutor’s Office and the Security Service of Ukraine to Parliament, leader of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov told journalists, ForUm correspondent reports.

"We met the wants of the opposition on the hearing of interior minister today. He came, expressed his view on the raised issues. It must be said that opposition behaved improperly. And then they want to continue inviting officials," he said.

The MP reminded that the Party of Regions faction proposed to set up a commission to investigate into the clashes, occurred on May 18 in Kyiv, and within the framework of its work to invite heads of the GPO and the SBU to the Parliament. "There are no problems with creation of the commission, we are ready to vote for its creation, if opposition gives its representatives. We have already nominated ours. However, for them it is easier to invite someone, engage in public relations actions, than to work and to understand what happened there," he said.
Yefremov informed that meeting is to continue after a short break, as the leaders of the factions have not found a consensus yet.
