The State Agency of Automobile Roads of Ukraine prepares concession projects for the construction of toll roads, head of Agency Yevhen Prusenko told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
"State program of economy revitalization for 2013-2014 provides for preparation of tender documentation and concession tenders for the six objects. I am sure that we can implement all of them," he said.
Prusenko noted that these projects will be ready no later than in a year and will be launched only if they are economically feasible.
"Toll roads will be built next to the free alternative. Price could be 30 kopecks per kilometer for a car and up to 1 UAH for a lorry," he said.
Head of the "Ukravtodor" stressed that, according to preliminary analysis, the projects should be definitely launched. "Yes, first t will be a burden on the state budget, but we also raise loans, not being able to pay them," he concluded.
