Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych appointed heads of Desniansky, Dniprovsky and Podilsky district administrations in Kyiv.

According to a posting on the President’s web site, the head of state appointed Stanislav Prokopenko as head of Desniansky District State Administration, Serhiy Kravchenko as head of Dniprovsky District State Administration and Serhiy Krushanovsky as head of Podilsky District State Administration, Interfax-Ukraine reported.

Previous head of Desniansky District State Administration Viktor Zherebniuk was elected as people’s deputy at the 2012 parliamentary elections in majority constituency No. 14 (Zhmerynka, Vinnytsia region).

On January 24, 2013, Head of Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Popov proposed the President to dismiss the heads of three districts in Kyiv – Podilsky, Holosiyivsky, and Sviatoshynsky – for poor cleaning of snow.
