The Party of Regions initiates to create a temporary investigative commission under the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to investigate the fights that took place on May 18 in Kyiv, leader of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov told during the Conciliation Board, ForUm correspondent reports.
"We are outraged that someone is trying to blame the Party of Regions for those fights ... We categorically do not accept the fact that some of our MPs took part in fights on Saturday. And we do not believe that it was the opposition," he said.
According to Yefremov, the temporary investigative commission should be created of the opposition and the Party of Regions representatives.
