The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has allowed import and sale of leaded petrol in Ukraine and lead additives to it in the amount of one thousand tons per year, ForUm correspondent reports.
290 deputies voted in favor of the draft law amending the law of Ukraine "On prohibition of import and sale of leaded petrol and lead additives to gasoline on the territory of Ukraine " regarding aviation fuel. The law was adopted as a basis and as a whole.
Speaker and head of the State Aviation Administration Anatoliy Kolesnyk said that the bill provides to import leaded gasoline to Ukraine in the amount of one thousand tons per year. It is necessary for fueling aircrafts with piston engines.
