MPs did not support the draft law № 0977 on amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine on abolition of parliamentary immunity, taking into account solution of the Constitutional Court on July 10, 2012, ForUm correspondent reports.
Speaker on this issue and MP from the Party of Regions Valeriy Pysarenko said that according to the decision of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine of July 10, 2012, regulations of this bill contradict articles № 157 and № 158 of the Constitution of Ukraine.
Accordingly, in his words, it can not be adopted in this form.
In turn, head of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Rybak put to a vote a draft resolution providing for return of this bill for revision to the relevant committee. The corresponding decision was supported only by 190 deputies. Thus, this bill will not be considered by the Parliament.
