Around 27 thousand police officers, including 1.6 thousand servicemen of internal troops of the Interior Ministry, will ensure public order on the Victory Day, May 9, the press service of the department reports.
It is expected that about 4.5 million events, involving more than 1.7 million citizens, will be held in more than 2.5 million settlements.
In particular, 2.2 thousand police officers, including 600 military servicemen, will provide public order in Kyiv on May 9.
More than 3.2 million law enforcement officers will also ensure order on May 8.
