48 houses and 14 recreation centres were flooded in the Cherkasy region, the press office of the State Service for Emergencies of Ukraine reported.
On May 6, 48 houses and land plots were flooded due to the discharge of water of the Kaniv hydroelectric power station on the left bank of the Kremenchuh reservoir in Sushky village of the Kaniv district, and 14 recreation centers were waterlogged on the right bank in Khreschatyk village of the Cherkasy region.
The operational team of the State Service for Emergencies of Ukraine in the Cherkasy region worked at the scene.
