Yesterday, April 24, vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuri Boiko paid a working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan to discuss expansion of cooperation of Ukraine with the Customs Union member states, the press service of the official informed.

Within the framework of his working visit to Astana, Boiko met with Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Akhmetov and vice Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Kelimbetov.

The parties discussed issues of deepening cooperation between Ukraine and the Customs Union member states.

In particular, they discussed the issues of development of mutually beneficial relations and the integration of Ukraine into the Customs Union, granting Ukraine the observer status, increasing sales of goods and services between Ukraine and the Customs Union member states.

The parties also discussed the possibilities and conditions for the accession of Ukraine to the number of specific agreements within the legal framework of the Customs Union.
