Parliament again refused to reduce the retirement age for women from 60 to 55 years.
As ForUm correspondent reports, two proposed bills did not gain necessary 226 votes.
The first draft provided for amending the law of Ukraine on obligatory state pension insurance concerning improvement of retirement conditions by individual MP Serhiy Mishchenko.
The Parliament’s committee on pensioners, veterans and disabled persons recommended taking it as a basis. However, it lacked three votes. 223 MPs supported that bill. The Party of Regions faction gave 11votes, Batkivshchyna faction – 88, UDAR faction - 35, Svoboda faction - 35, Communist Party faction - 32, individual MPs - 22.
The bill on amending the law of Ukraine on obligatory state pension insurance concerning restoration of the retirement age for women, pensionable service and pension determination at the level of 2011 by MP from the Batkivshchyna faction Lyudmyla Denysova was supported by 221 MPs. The Party of Regions faction gave 1 vote, Batkivshchyna faction – 93, UDAR faction - 37, Svoboda faction - 36, Communist Party faction - 32, individual MPs - 22.
