Flooding does not threaten capital residential areas and industrial sites, director of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center Mykola Kulbida told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Only low-lying areas that are adjacent to the Dnieper River near the Pivdenny Bridge may be flooded," he said.
According to Kulbida, small local flooding is expected in Kyiv during the last days of April - early May.
He also noted that some problems may arise in the country sites of Vyshenky and Osokorky and the island on Dnieper, including partially Trukhaniv Island.
