On March 22 of this year, the State Treasury of Ukraine allocated 27 million UAH to the Ukravtodor State Agency for Automobile Roads of Ukraine, of which 6 million UAH were directed at eliminating the consequences of the disaster, which occurred on March 22-23, in Kyiv and Kyiv region, the press service of the government informs.

As a reminder, in the evening of March 22, many kilometers of traffic jams formed in Kyiv because of record snowfall. Some drivers spent 10-12 hours in jams.

On Monday, the situation was partially stabilized, however the city continued getting stuck in snowdrifts. According to forecasters, a record amount of snow for the entire 132-year history of weather observations dropped over the last few days.
