The expert assistance of the International Finance Corporation in different directions has a positive impact on the progress of reforms in Ukraine, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych said during the meeting with the chairman of the International Finance Corporation Dr. Jin-Yong Cai, the President’s press service informs.
"I would like to reiterate that we always remain your reliable partner and we are grateful to you for the cooperation," he said. According to the President, a wide range of issues of cooperation with the International Finance Corporation touches upon systemic reforms, launched in Ukraine in May 2010.
"We appreciate the role of experts of the International Finance Corporation office operating in Ukraine. We feel the constant assistance in the areas, in which work together, which positively influences the pace of reform," Yanukovych said.
He emphasized that the results of studies of the Ukrainian project of the International Finance Corporation "The investment climate in Ukraine" indicate the direction of reforms in the field of state control and technical regulation.
Chairman of the International Finance Corporation Dr. Jin-Yong Cai, in turn, noted that Ukraine has a great potential for development.
