Ukraine intends to hold three meetings at the ministerial level within its chairmanship in the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC), BSEC secretary general Victor Tvircun told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

At the same time, on May 23, the meetings among economic ministers of the BSEC member states will be held in Yalta, during which it is planned to discuss the results of Ukraine's chairmanship in this organization and various economic problems.

On May 27-28, Odesa will host a meeting of transport ministers to consider the paces of construction of a ring highway around the Black Sea and infrastructure projects around a ring road. In addition, the ministers will also sign the documents suggesting the issuance of certificates for the rapid passage of borders within the Black Sea Economic Basin.

According to the BSEC secretary general, on June 21, a meeting of foreign ministers will be held in Odesa to summarize the results of Ukraine’s chairmanship and to hand it over to Armenia. 

As a reminder, Ukraine is a chairmanship of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation from January 1 till July 1.
