The position of the Party of Regions on the elections in Kyiv remains the same - to wait for the interpretation of the Constitutional Court, leader of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"48 MPs have signed address to the Constitutional Court, We told our colleagues that in order not to leave the legal field of decision-making, we are ready to vote in the first reading for a draft resolution on Kyiv elections, and to approve the issue finally as soon as Constitutional Court makes the decision," he said.
Yefremov said that the decision was taken at the meeting of the Party of Regions faction. "Some rumors appear, they say about the Administration of the President, name its head. I can say to my colleagues that I discussed the issue with the faction, and the lawyers who work with us. Unfortunately I know nothing about view of the Administration of the President, the Cabinet or the KCSA on this issue," the MP said.
