Ukraine hopes to complete negotiations on a free trade area (FTA) in services with the CIS before May, economic development and trade minister Ihor Prasolov said at the International Economic Forum of CIS member states in Moscow, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to the minister, the final documents should be prepared before May.
"We will try to sign the agreement by the next meeting of the Commonwealth Heads of Government. This will be an organic addition to the commercial FTA, which has been already ratified and initiated by Ukraine," the official said.
According to Prasolov, the total domestic turnover of trade in services amounts to about 20 billion USD, including 7.3 billion USD for the CIS.
