In 2013, the Independent Association of Ukrainian Banks (NABU) will continue to work in the field of financial literacy of the population, NABU project manager Roman Kobets said, ForUm correspondent reports.

"First of all, we will launch public web resources. Thus, the Antykiber portal has been already created, which shows the unity of interests of representatives of the banking community and customers, who do not want fraud to develop in the Ukrainian banking services," he said.

According to him, the next step will be a creation of the Internet resource "Financial literacy."

"This resource will include the information, taking into account the age of users (from children to pensioners). The portal will have not only the information about bank resources, but also basic knowledge about them," he said.

In addition, according to Kobets, this year a new project will be launched, within which complex activities to improve financial literacy will take place in 20 cities of Ukraine.

He added that, in accordance with this project, much attention will be paid to the work with journalists and banks.
