The Government has identified the list of sports facilities, subject to construction projects, reconstruction and repair for the preparation and holding of the final tournament of the European Basketball Championship in 2015.
The relevant instruction was approved at the government’s meeting on March 11, 2013, the Cabinet’s press service informs.
"Thus, the issue of budget funds for the preparations and holding of the final tournament of the European Basketball Championship in 2015 is settled," the statement says.
The means, in particular, will be allocated for design and reconstruction of the Palace of Sports in Kyiv, universal spectacular sporting palace "Meteor" in Dnepropetrovsk, as well as for design and construction of training centers in Kyiv, in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Lviv, Kharkiv regions.
