Kyivsky District Court of Kharkiv has ruled to send another request to jailed former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko regarding a possibility of her participation in the court hearing of the criminal case on the activities of the United Energy Systems of Ukraine (UESU) Corporation via a video linkup, Interfax reports.
"[The court rules] to send a request to Tymoshenko to Central Clinical Hospital No. 5 on the possibility of her participation in the court hearing via a video linkup," reads the ruling that was read aloud by judge Kostiantyn Sadovsky.
The court also decided that it is impossible to consider the case in the absence of the defendant and her defense team.
The court adjourned the hearing of the UESU case until 10.00 a.m. on March 22.
