The Ukrainian Center for Education Quality Assessment proposes to postpone the parliamentary hearings on improvement of the external independent testing (EIT) process till September 2013, director of the Ukrainian Center for Education Quality Assessment Iryna Zaitseva told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
"We are quite positive about the proposal to hold the parliamentary hearings, but we offer another date. As the hearings were suggested to be held on May 22 that is 10 days before the start of the campaign. In my opinion, this is impossible. Moreover, I doubt that such hearings may be effective," she noted.
According to Zaitseva, it is necessary to wait for the EIT results. "We offered to hold the parliamentary hearings in September of 2013, when we will have the results of the testing," she summed up.
