Ukraine will encourage the development of space industry through domestic orders, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said during the visit to the State Enterprise "Kyivprylad Production Association", the Cabinet’s press service informs.
"We have the opportunity to encourage the development of the space industry through domestic orders," Azarov said. He added that it is provided for in the economic development stimulation program for 2013 - 2014.
"We will encourage the development of the areas, in which we have advanced technologies," Azarov stressed.
The Prime Minister cited the example of the success of the "Kyivprylad Association", where apart from instruments for the space industry, equipment for energy, housing and utilities, electric areas are being produced. In particular, four new stadiums, opened for Euro 2012, are equipped with devices of the "Kyivprylad Production Association".
