Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has instructed to take measures to provide patients with nephrological diseases with hemodialysis, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine reports.
It is noted that the procedure for blood purification of patients is free of charge in Ukraine. This therapy is vital, and the treatment must not be stopped.
However, there was a problem with the financing of treatment at expense of state, and many patients can not afford to pay for this expensive treatment.
The Prime Minister instructed head of the National Academy of Medical Sciences Andriy Serdyuk and finance minister Yuriy Kolobov to work out immediately the issue to ensure patients with nephrological diseases with hemodialysis and to take appropriate actions.
The issue is under control of deputy Prime Minister Kostyantyn Hryshchenko.
