Mazurchak: Bortnychi plant reconstruction costs four b

Reconstruction of the Bortnychi aeration plant costs four billion hryvnia, first deputy chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Mazurchak told journalists, ForUm correspondent reports.

"Kyiv aeration plant needs a serious reconstruction. It costs four billion hryvnia ... So far, neither the city nor the state has funds for a one-stage reconstruction, so we will have a two-stage reconstruction. Now negotiations are being held with Japan on raising funds for the long term period, which will allow us to reconstruct the plant," he said.

In total, according to Mazurchak, this year 30 million hryvnia have been allocated from the capital budget for the Bortnychi aeration plant reconstruction,

In addition, the first deputy chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration said that the project on odor removal has been already fully prepared and funded.
